"Decent service, but the modem could be better"
The service works fine most days, and setup was easy, but the modem they sent feels a little cheap. I’ve had to restart it a few times when the WiFi started getting really slow. It’s not awful or anything, I just expected the equipment to feel a bit better. Has anyone else had the same issue with the modem?

"Canceling my account was way more frustrating than it needed to be"
I tried to cancel my VMedia account, it turned into such a hassle for no good reason. As someone who’s careful about tracking my subscriptions and bills, I found the account page really frustrating because it wasn’t clear what was still active or what I was actually being charged for.

I ended up having to contact support more than once, and each time I seemed to get a different answer. It felt like no one was really taking ownership of the issue, so I kept having to explain the same thing over again.

Even after I asked to cancel, I still felt uneasy that I might get billed again. That’s just not the kind of experience I want from a service provider. I wouldn’t use them again.

"Billing Should Be Easier to Understand"
I wasn’t really thrilled with VMedia’s billing. The amount on my invoice didn’t line up with what I thought I had signed up for, and there were a few extra charges that I had to keep asking about. Stuff like that should be clear from the start.

To be fair, support did explain some of it, but I still felt like I was the one doing the follow-up just to get basic things sorted out. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a bill that makes sense without having to go through every line each month.

"It works, but am I the only one getting random slowdowns?"
I’ve been with VMedia for a little while now, and it’s been kind of a mixed bag. Most of the time it’s fine for regular stuff like browsing, streaming, and emails, so I don’t want to make it sound terrible. But I do notice random slowdowns at night, and I’m not sure if that’s just normal or if other people are dealing with it too. I’ve also had a couple of disconnects, which isn’t the end of the world, but it’s frustrating when I’m working from home. Support was okay when I reached out, just not exactly quick. Overall, it gets the job done, I just wish it felt a bit more steady.

"Support replies are slow and confusing"
I tried reaching out to support a few times and just ended up waiting around forever. When they finally replied, it didn’t really clear things up, and then the email would say one thing while the actual situation seemed like something else. Frustrating experience overall

"The bill ended up feeling higher than what..."
The bill ended up feeling higher than what I thought it was worth. Maybe I’m just picky about value for money, but for me personally, it didn’t feel like I got enough to justify the price...

"Speeds have been solid, but I’m a bit less confident now"
I’ve been with VMedia for a few months, and to be fair, the internet speed has been really solid. I work from home most days and stream at night, and it usually holds up without much slowing down, which I definitely appreciate.

That said, I’ve had a couple of small dips and little moments where things didn’t feel as reliable as they did at first, so my trust has taken a bit of a hit. It hasn’t been a major problem yet, and for the price I’m still mostly happy, but I’m not quite at the “no worries at all” stage anymore.

"It’s been okay for the most part..."
It’s been okay for the most part, I watch it most nights and it does the job. The picture does freeze here and there though, and a few channels can take a while to load. Support was fine when I reached out, they helped but it wasn’t anything amazing. For the price I’m not too upset, I just wish it stayed a bit more stable when things get busy.

"Find another provider"

Compared with other providers the internet was ok, Latency was a little higher but other then that it was fine.  TV was another story though.  On multiple occasions we had channels freeze up randomly.  Called in so many times and with no resolution.  Sometimes their support teams would be combative.  After enduring the TV channel problem long enough I decided to leave.  So I cancelled my account and sent back the modem like customer service said so that I would not be charged a fee for the modem.  They did not charge me for the modem, BUT they did charge me a restocking fee.
Really vmedia??? A restocking fee???  That is such poor business practice.  I will never use vmedia again nor promote them, all because of a restocking fee of $28. You make the other providers look so much better.
